Writing Around the Christmas Tree
 

This year, we are overjoyed to announce Baker & Bloom’s first ever Writing Competition! Winners of this competition will proudly construct our inaugural digital holiday anthology entitled “Writing Around the Christmas Tree”, which is a collection of fifteen winter-themed works written by our students over the course of our 2021 Christmas Camps.

 

Our 2021 Holiday Anthology, “Writing Around the Christmas Tree”, will be assembled and published as an online zine that will be shared across all of our social media platforms and will additionally be accessible on our main website all-year-round. We have read a tremendous amount of fabulous pieces over the years and we want to celebrate the amazing talent within our Baker & Bloom community! With this anthology we hope to display our students’ wonderful works and their growth here at our centre.

 

One Grand Winner alongside two runner-ups will be chosen from each of the following categories: 

• Kindergarten

• Lower Primary (Gr. 1-3)

• Upper Primary (Gr. 4-5)

• Middle School (Gr. 6-8)

• High School (Gr. 9-12)

 

All Grand Winners will have an opportunity for a Complimentary 1-on-1 Editing Session with Mr. Tom Chan to ensure their pieces are ready for the public eye and will receive a special Christmas Gift Basket with a monetary value of over $1500.

 

All winners and runner-ups will receive a congratulatory certificate alongside the publication of their works in our first Holiday Anthology.
